About LEED

LEED 2009 (version 3) launched in April of 2009. The new three tiered credential structure emphasizes Energy Efficiency and CO2 Emissions Reductions.

Green Associate -     Demonstrates a basic understanding of green building principles specific to construction, operations and design. Our Green Associate Exam Trainings will provide eligibility to sit for the LEED Green Associate Exam. For information on LEED eligibility requirements click here.

LEED AP -       Demonstrates and in-depth knowledge of one or more of the specific LEED rating systems. The prerequisite to take any of the LEED AP Exams is to have already successfully passed the LEED Green Associate Exam.

LEED Fellow -     USGBC is still developing this credential to recognize professionals based on experience and contributions to the green building industry.

Pricing and Registration

We offer our LEED Exam Trainings at the best prices in the Bay Area. All training materials and handouts are included with registration. In order to keep prices low, food is not provided.

Registration Requirements:

• Payment must accompany registration.

• We cannot guarantee seats for those who have not pre-registered.

• All information on the registration form must be completed.

• Credit card registrations may be made online or WALKED IN to the AIA East Bay office. We cannot accept credit card payments via email, mail or phone.

• Registrations paid by check can be mailed or walked-in to: AIA East Bay, 1405 Clay Street, Oakland, CA 94612. Payments received after the class date will be returned.
