Criteria
Thinking "out of the box"….Projects not yet substantially constructed that display architectural or planning excellence, innovative ideas, and design exploration are invited for submittal.

Eligibility
Un-built architectural (new and/or renovation) or planning projects of any size for sites located within Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, and Napa counties; Un-built architectural (new and/or renovation) or planning projects of any size or location designed by a member of the East Bay Chapter of the AIA.

Allison G. Williams, FAIA

David Meckel, FAIA is Special Assistant to the President at the California College of Arts and Crafts (CCAC). He is chair of the 2003 AIA College of Fellows Jury, Professional Advisor for the Memphis Riverfront Competition and Campus Architect for the University of the Pacific.

David J. Neuman, FAIA is currently the University Architect and Associate Vice Provost for Planning at Stanford University. Under his direction, plans and projects have garnered more than 60 national, state and regional design awards, as well as international and national media acclaim.

Allison G. Williams, FAIA is a Principal and the firmwide Director of Design for Ai, the architecture and interior design firm founded in Washington DC in 1986. Williams opened the San Francisco office in 1997. Throughout her career, she has provided design direction and primary leadership for significant civic projects, large scale urban design, residential and mixed use developments nationwide and overseas. Williams was formerly an associate partner in design with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, in San Francisco.
